Biography

A life of pushing limits

Since childhood, I have always loved sport. I had a natural ability in many disciplines I tried, especially football, and even pétanque.

At the age of 11, I left the family home to join the best training centre in the region. On weekends, I played for Rodez Aveyron Football in Honneur Ligue, the highest regional level at the time.

Between football and pétanque, my weekends were already very busy.

While I was in a football sports-study programme, I met Éric, who introduced me to mountain biking. It very quickly became a true passion, even an addiction, to the point where I eventually had to stop both football and pétanque. Balancing all three activities made me realise that choices had to be made.

I started out in cross-country, taking part in a few races and rides. However, I soon needed more excitement and, at the time, downhill was booming. So I took part in several regional rounds, but all I could think about was doing tricks on every jump of the track — which was not exactly compatible with racing against the clock.

Naturally, I turned to freestyle. The beginning of a long story.

Coming from a modest family, I sometimes struggled to finance my equipment. Nevertheless, I always found ways to make it work: doing small jobs, reselling things I no longer needed, or finding different solutions so I could keep riding with quality gear.

Despite all my efforts, there were times when I could not afford to replace a broken fork or a damaged rear wheel. I was then forced to put my passion on hold for several weeks, while I saved money and found new ways to finance my equipment.

Over time, I began to reach an interesting technical level, which allowed me to rank among the best French riders in the discipline.

I quickly understood that it was essential to make a name for myself in the industry in order to attract sponsors and no longer have to finance my equipment on my own — which would allow me to keep progressing.

So, from the age of 16, I started appearing in magazines and online. I took many initiatives to reach out to the media, and little by little, my name began to gain recognition.

I then joined a first team, followed by a second one three years later, which allowed me to professionalise my approach, travel, and gain more support to take part in competitions.

As good results started coming in contests, I decided to create my own company in order to remain independent and choose my own partners.

At the age of 20, I joined a team specialised in MTB Trial and Dirt Jump shows. Since then, I have built my sporting career with the support of my partners. I have produced many images, taken part in various projects, and always made a point of being highly visible in the press in order to give the best possible exposure to the brands that trust me.

In June 2017, I created my own events company, Bike Resolution, offering turnkey shows and animations for various events throughout France.

More recently, in 2021, I created Fun Ride 30, a one-hectare bike park located between Nîmes and Montpellier, just thirty minutes from the sea, as well as the Fun Ride Academy cycling school, which now has nearly fifty students.

A life built on challenges, passion, projects and a great deal of work — all to pursue a childhood dream: turning my passion into my profession.
